I don't know him but his story sounds familiar. It can be hard when one wants to work but can't because of regulations. He does look cold, maybe extra cold coming from the tropics. I love your theme, Rick, you take beautiful pictures of people and get to connect with them even for just a little while.

I like how you seem to connect and gain confidence with your models to create the portrait. The green in the background fits the colourscheme of your model very well.
